It’s a bit late, but if you still need Valentine’s Day Cards…here’s what was provided with DC’s Young Romance oneshot!

Who’s your favorite Valentine?

REQUESTING COMIC BOOK RECS…

HI SO I’m going to the comic book store later on in the week to pick up the wonderful Prince of Cats (Vertigo) and Batwoman (since all I have is elegy) AND I DEFINITELY WANT TO PICK UP MORE COMICS WHILE I’M THERE SINCE I rarely go to the comic book store which is good and bad at the same time.

I asked for some Marvel recs last YEAR WOW IT’S BEEN A YEAR since I don’t really read Marvel stuff (I asked for Cap. and Deadpool and X-Men) and to be honest I haven’t actually read up on those yet SO GO ME…definitely will do that soon. AND I WOULD REALLY REALLY really really really really be grateful if you can recommend YOUR favorite comics!

If you’re interested at all in knowing what I like, this is a brief list of my favorite volumes and it’s not up-to-date yet, but as you can see I’m really into Gotham City  (so the Batfam and all of the villains in Gotham) and Marvel Red Team (Deadpool, Daredevil and Spiderman—both Peter and Miles). This is my current to-do list, and if you scroll down you can see what comic books I need to read somewhat by volume—So YEAH if it makes your life easier to rec’ing me stuff, just list out titles or specific volumes (since I’ll be buying the TPBs/HCs of these).

Here’s a list of what I’ll definitely be checking out:

  • Animal Man
  • Aquaman
  • Batman: Streets of Gotham?
  • Booster Gold / Justice League International
  • Cable and Deadpool
  • Captain America’s Operation Rebirth
  • Catwoman
  • Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe
  • Deadpool Teamup
  • Deadpool: We Don’t Need Another Hero
  • Emma Frost!
  • Civil War Arc…!! Somewhere…there…
  • Gotham City Sirens?
  • Sandman
  • Swamp Thing?
  • Uncle Sam
  • Xombi
  • Young Avengers

But I’m open for any and every suggestion! Oneshots/Standalones are welcome too. It doesn’t have to be just DC/Marvel either.

I really really REALLY REALLY appreciate any suggestions and hope to hear from anyone and everyone! And I have to end this with a question because that’s how you guys can respond to me?

I don’t fully understand why ours should be such a fatal relationship, but I don’t want your murder on my…hands…

I think of a dozen different things to say. Ted would be funny. Even now, he’d be funny. I try because I want Ted to smile as I crash Max’s chess game. I want to hear him laugh. I missed that laugh. Everyone knows it. I think hard, but all I can manage to say—TED!—is his name.
